We are pleased to introduce the Chair 349 project with a time-tested backrest manufacturing technology, perfect for small-scale production.
Manufacturing Technology:
🔹 Multi-layered backrest: The backrest is made of several layers of thin plywood (3-4 mm), bent according to a special template and glued together.
🔹 Traditional methods: This technology was used by traditional furniture craftsmen and does not require special equipment like thermal presses.
🔹 Perfect shape: Each subsequent layer in the unbent state is slightly larger than the previous one. When bent, they align perfectly, and after the glue dries, the backrest holds its shape securely.
Design Variety:
🔹 Based on one template: Change the shape of thin plywood to create different backrest designs, allowing easy adaptation of the project to different styles and preferences.
Materials:
🔹 Backrest: 3-4 mm thick plywood
🔹 Seat: 15 mm thick plywood
